Fuel prices protests engineered: Secret Service

State Intelligence Agency (BIN) on Wednesday said the protests over the plan to raise fuel prices were engineered by former ministers and high-ranking government officials.BIN chairman Syamsir Siregar said people might further join the demonstrations as they did not really understand the reason behind the plan to raise fuel prices.
"I urge the government to communicate the reasons behind the plan to the public to avoid more protests across the country," he said. (***)
