RI teachers to join 'Profs en France' program

Some 33 teachers from Indonesia and their colleagues from China and India will visit France through a program called 'Profs en France' organized by the French foreign ministry.
The visit will take place from July 6 to 19, 2008 and will give participants the oportunity to actualize their linguistic, pedagogic and cultural capabilities.
"Some 33 Indonesian teachers and 67 others from China and India, will take part in the program," said a press statement from the French Embassy in Jakarta relased Friday.
In the first phase of the program, they will visit Vichy and stay with local French families.
For the second half of the program, they will visit Paris to see, among other things, Sorbonne, Versailles Palace and several museums. They will also meet with French foreign ministry officials.(**)
