House speaker favors death penalty for corrupters

House of Representatives Speaker Agung Laksono said he supported the idea that corrupters be given the death penalty, and hoped others, including House members, would do likewise.

Speaking at the legislative building here on Wednesday, Laksono said corruption was doing extensive harm to society.

"Therefore, there must be legal punishment for corrupters so severe that will also have a deterrent effect," he said.

He said that in other countries which were once also plagued by corruption, the introduction of severe punishment, including the death penalty, resulted in a drastic decline in the corruption rate.

"This means that the death penalty is an effective means to fight corruption," he said.

A murder, he said, had consequences for only one or a few persons, but a corrupt act had a very harmful effect on the general public, he said.

"I hope the idea of making corruption punishable by the death sentence will be responded to favorably by House members and the government," Laksono said.(**)

THAT IS OUR INDONESIA FOR US.MEANWHILE THEY ARE VERY BUSY CELEBRATING AND EXECUTING PEOPLE WHOM THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF THE CRIME THEY COMMITTED HAVE A VERY SMALL EFFECT COMPARED TO THE MILLIONS AND BILLIONS THESE TOP UNTOUCHABLES AND CORRUPT OFFICIALS CORNERED TO THEIR PRIVATE POCKET.
THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IS BOASTING AND TELLING US THAT MORE EXECUTION WILL COME DISCARDING ENTIRELY THE NEED TO REHABILITATE THEM. IT IS EITHER THE GOVERNMENT IS SAVING FACE AND TRYING TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THE MASSIVE CORRUPTION THAT HAS CRIPPLED THE SYSTEM.
THESE CORRUPT OFFICIALS ARE THE REAL KILLERS OF OUR SOCIETY.CORRUPTION ALONE IS SUBJECTING MILLIONS OF OUR POOR MASSES TO A HIGHER DEGREE OF POVERTY.

By this, the Indonesian Population will decrease by somewhere near to 99%.

The question is, how Indonesia will survive death of all the parliament members, politicians, policeman, judges, prosecutors, director of public companies ... etc.?
