The trick in choosing a Wedding Organizer

Many people hire a Wedding Organizer (WO) to prepare everything for their wedding. What should one know about a WO? How to choose the right WO? What does a WO do? And, finally, is a WO is really needed to take care of everything on your wedding day? To get answers to these questions, we contacted Mr Theo of Tantra Wedding Organizer who gave the following advice. A WO can prepare a wedding day efficiently, effectively and systematically Family and friends of the wedding couple will not be burdened by details for the wedding day when a WO is used. A WO helps the prospective bride and bridegroom prepare their wedding day over a short period. Mr Theo also talks about what a WO can do to take care of a wedding day. Generally, there are two types of services that a prospective bride and bridegroom may choose from:

1. Full Service A WO helps the bride and bridegroom from the very beginning, from determining the theme, the concept of the program, the timetable and the run-down to helping find the best suppliers for the wedding day. A WO is obliged to arrange not only meetings with suppliers and the committee but also the wedding day. This service is usually very suitable for brides and bridegrooms with only a little free time. D-Day Service The prospective bride and bridegroom choosing this service usually have enough time to prepare their wedding day but they do not want to be kept busy on their actual wedding day. Here a WO helps prepare a meeting with the wedding committee, briefs the families and the committee and makes arrangements on the wedding day, such as availability of a time keeper and equipment and a final check on the decorations, entertainment, food, etc. Mr Theo then gave advice on choosing a WO:

(1) Does the WO understand your wishes?

Basically, every bride and bridegroom has definite ideas about their dream wedding. A WO plays an important role in bringing this dream to reality. Of course, several aspects must be taken into account such as expenses, location and other things that will support the realization of this dream.

(2) Is the working method of the WO you have chosen to your liking?

It is necessary to learn the working procedure of a WO. WOs usually have different working procedures. If the working procedure of a WO is not to your liking, it is likely that there will be friction or conflict in future.

(3) Is the character of the WO personnel to your liking?

If the working procedure of a WO is to your liking, it is also necessary to judge whether the personal characters of the WO people are also to your liking. This is important because the relationship to be established is a personal relationship between you and these people, who will be involved with you on a personal level.
