People say it's difficult to live honestly and properly in this era of global crisis. But great and honest people are doing plenty of good things in these difficult times. I went shopping with some friends during a recent trip to Jakarta. On Oct. 26 around 2:00 p.m., we were shopping in Gajah Mada Plaza.
Out of the blue I heard my friend's name over the mall's PA system. A woman was specifically asking my friend to come to the information desk.
At first we thought it was a silly prank. Then my friend realized her cell-phone pouch was nowhere near her. We panicked and went straight to the information desk.
Is it happened we got too busy trying on sale items and my friend forgot that she had put her cell-phone pouch, complete with two phones and other valuable items, on a display stand between two clothing racks.
An employee found the pouch, who handed it in to a guard, who handed it in to the information center.
We would like to thank all the employees at the Gajah Mada mall, who took care of our mishap in a great, supportive, attentive and friendly manner. We appreciate your honesty and kindness. Keep up the good work.
