USGS: 6.5-magnitude quake strikes northwest China

The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 6.5 earthquake has struck the northwestern Chinese province of Qinghai.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The quake sruck at a depth of 10 kilometers in northern Qinghai at 9:22 a.m. local time (0122 GMT), the agency said.
The USGS says the quake's epicenter was located 1,800 kilometers west of Beijing.
