I am commenting on the Israeli Ambassador to Singapore's viewpoint published in The Jakarta Post on Jan. 3 about the ongoing Israeli strikes against Palestine.

I totally disagree with his thought, which seems to be simplifying the matter -- which is not only because Hamas launches rockets into southern Israel as he mentioned, but in fact the root of the matter is Israel depriving the Palestinians of their land, making their lives difficult for a long time.

Israel only treats the Palestinians inhumanely and cruelly, and Israel retaliates with severe action against the Palestinian's fight for their rights.

So this is apparently a matter of injustice that Palestinians struggle for their right to live on their own land against the aggressor Israel.
