he Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, introduces its newest Marriott Bonvoy On Wheel collaboration to bring Hamabe's finest Japanese cuisine to your doorstep, in packaging that is both esthetically pleasing and eco-friendly.
You can enjoy a wide selection of Hamabe specials at home, such as sashimi, ramen, bento and curry, simply by browsing your favorite food delivery apps like GoFood and GrabFood.
For Hamabe’s takeaway packaging, The Westin collaborated with Balinese illustrator Ida Bagus Ratu Antoni Putra, also known as Monez, who adorned each box with lively illustrations of fun activities The Westin offers to guests.
“We have seen an increased number of food deliveries on the island, and we are inspired to bring you the same dining experience from Hamabe in the comfort of your home as part of our Marriott Bonvoy On Wheels initiative,” says Manoj Rawat, Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali.
“The fun part of getting your food delivered is to unpack and see what’s inside, so we have been working with Monez to give a fresh look on our eco-friendly food packaging that will keep your food safe during delivery,” he added.
Monez, who holds both a bachelor and master of art from the Indonesian Institute of Arts, Denpasar, is an independent illustrator born and raised on Bali who has been at the top of his field for more than 15 years.
Monez started his career as a garment pattern designer before he earned his reputation as an illustrator by sharing his colorful and imaginative artwork on social media.
His clients include Apple, the Procreate app, Affinity by Serif, Starbucks, Havaianas, Bali Zoo, Grab, Walt Disney Indonesia and Aqua. Over the years, his illustrations have also made their way onto product packaging, merchandise and even as wall murals at hotels and restaurant. Monez's strong suits, as his portfolio reveals, are digital illustration as well as acrylic, oil, watercolor and charcoal paintings.
