4 dead, three injured in toll road accident in North Sumatra

The accident occurred when a Toyota Kijang Innova minivan hit a box truck at Km. 134 while traveling from Kisaran to Indrapura.

our people have died, and three others were seriously injured after an accident at Km. 134 of the Kisaran-Indrapura toll road in Batubara regency, North Sumatra on Friday.

Batubara Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Doly Nelson H.H. Nainggolan has said that all victims were evacuated to Bidadari Hospital in Batubar.

“The accident left four people dead, and three others wounded,” he said. 

“Police officers in the field are investigating the accident.”

Martua Siregar, Saiful Silitonga, Menten Tarigan and Masnun Sihombing were identified as those who lost their lives. They died at the scene from their injuries. 

The three injured people, including the driver, were reportedly sent to intensive care at the hospital.
