View all search resultsT Indosat Tbk, operating as Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, delivered a promising financial result in its third quarter of 2025, signaling steady growth across key financial indicators, despite a challenging macro environment. The success is attributed to its strong business fundamentals, disciplined execution and customer-centric strategy.
“Economic challenges demand us to stay adaptive and focused on what truly matters, our customers. Indosat’s AI-Native transformation is redefining how we create value and deliver digital experiences. With a strong foundation, disciplined execution and purpose-driven innovation, we are confident Indosat will continue to grow sustainably and deliver meaningful impact for Indonesia’s digital economy,” said Vikram Sinha, President Director and chief executive officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.
The numbers serve as evidence that corroborates Vikram’s statement.
Throughout the third quarter, Indosat experienced a 3.8 percent increase compared to the previous quarter, bringing revenue up to Rp 14,052 trillion (US$844 billion). Driven by improvements across its cellular, multimedia, data communications, internet (MIDI) and fixed telecommunications business lines, which grew by 4.2 percent, 1.9 percent and 1.1 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), respectively.
Positive momentum was also reflected in Normalized Net Profit Attributable to Owners of the Parent Entity, which rose 29.1 percent to Rp 1.32 trillion. Meanwhile, EBITDA grew by 0.8 percent to Rp 6.49 trillion over the same period. The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) increased by 3.6 percent QoQ to around 40,000 supported by a stable mobile customer base of 95 million.
Indosat is continuously transforming toward an AI-Native system, delivering innovations that create tangible value for its customers. In the third quarter, the company launched its AI-powered Anti-Spam and Anti-Scam solutions, built on its proprietary AIvolusi5G platform with the aim to enhance digital trust and safety, as well as redefine the quality and security of customer engagement.
Back in August, the company unveiled a collaboration with Cisco to create Indonesia’s first Sovereign Security Operations Center (SOC), a landmark initiative to bolster national cybersecurity and digital sovereignty. Building on the success of the Indonesia AI Center of Excellence, this partnership marks a pivotal step in advancing AI innovation and digital resilience across the nation.
The company also operated over 208,000 4G BTS, up 7.7 percent YoY, alongside a rapid increase in 5G BTS, now reaching 1,404 sites. This network expansion forms the backbone of Indosat’s mission to deliver faster, more reliable and inclusive digital connectivity for all Indonesians.
Keeping sustainable and customer-centric values at the helm of its operations, coupled with a disciplined execution, Indosat invests around 79.5 percent of total capital expenditure to its cellular network to support surging data demand. These efforts are building a foundation toward an AI-native, cloud-enabled and customer-obsessed organization that positions it as a key catalyst in shaping Indonesia’s digital future.
